Ahhh!!!

I'm writing to you from the deck because......

I GOT SKUNKED. GAAAH!!!! Help!!! We're gonna try to get me in for a deskunking treatment at PetMart or PetCo today. If not, it'll be the homies first experience in trying to bathe me. This should be funny.

AND STINKY.

My dogs used to get skunked all the time. This was the best De-skunk Recipe

- 1 quart peroxide
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 2 tablespoons dishwashing liquid
Mix in bucket and sponge on dog. Rinse off. The odor will be *GONE*.
You can double/quadruple the recipe to make 1/2 gallon - 1 gallon
depending on
the size and length of coat of the affected dog.
Remember this, too - the stuff is safe (don't get it in eyes, though) but,
"A Word of Caution"
"Do Not" try to bottle it or try to put it in a closed container. The
byproduct of the chemical reaction produced is oxygen and contained, the
stuff is explosive. Also, it should be used as soon as it's mixed up.

The reaction doesn't last long.

Also Masengil (yes, the douche) works a little too. Be warned, Tosca will smell for months when she gets wet! Good luck!

Oh, also don't let tosca drink the hydrogen peroxide ... pukies will ensue!

Oh no Toska!

That happened to our brother scooter who is now in heaven and my mommy both!!!

What a mess that was! Mommy smelled like a skunk for days and scooter, for months!

Hope they can get it out cuz otherwise, every buddy will back away from you for weeks!

Also, Scooter was sooo smart, he did it twice!

Good luck!

You terriers and skunks. My Grandpa Angus tried to get a skunk once and even kept attacking after the skunk sprayed him three times.

Thanks for the input, guys! I'm writing you from Pet Palace Spa where I'm being treated like royalty. Stinky, stinky royalty. My homie seems only to have gotten skunkyskunk on her hands from picking me up (or rather, prying me away from that dirty little beast). But it's really sticking on her hands! She just bought 20 dollars of Nature's Miracle skunk remover so hopefully this will get her good and ready for my triumphant return.

Fancy getting skunked, huh?! What are the chances?? Good Lord, hop in the pinkies bed and try rubbing it off on their sheet we suggest. that's what we do with any malodour, sand, mud and anything else rancid!
